Hiding places (home from home) | 2025 | Digital photograph 55cm x 42cm

Inspired by a covered, disused lamp at the Anvil Point lighthouse in Purbeck, this live action investigated ideas of signalling and concealment. Two women, exposed to the world, hide inside improvised shelters, mimicking the defensive behaviours of local wildlife. Situated in the same field, they appear to be in dialogue, yet are isolated and made more vulnerable by their camouflage.

Developed with Megan Calver during a residency at Durlston Country Park, Dorset in 2021 and presented as digital documentation in 'Our Place' at Studio KIND. (2025).
