Night Piece (Swimming with Trees) | 2025 | Set of three digital photographs and printed score

Cutting across a field on a moonless night, we encounter familiar trees as strange new beings. Caught in the flash of our camera, the full force of each tree's unique personhood comes to light. The trees seem as surprised as we are: uprooted from our separate worlds, we find ourselves swimming in the darkness together.
