Night Piece (Swimming with Trees) | 2025 | Set of three digital photographs and printed score

Cutting across a field
on a moonless night,
you encounter familiar trees
as strange new beings.

Caught in the flash of your camera,
the trees seem as surprised as you are.

Uprooted from your separate worlds,
you find yourselves

swimming
in the darkness
together.
